Timothy "Timmy" R. Rodgers passed away on January 27, surrounded by loved ones. Born and raised in Boston, Timmy was the beloved son of James and Eulah Rodgers. He was the cherished older brother of Jamie and Darnell Rodgers, and father to Michelle Wilson (Rodgers). He is survived by both his parents, his daughter, his three adored grandchildren, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Timmy was known throughout Roslindale not only for his remarkable talent on the basketball court, but also for his deep love of music. He collected old-school records and shared his passion as a DJ, bringing people together through the sounds he cherished. A terrific dancer and a truly talented artist, Timmy expressed himself in ways that captivated everyone around him. Beyond his many gifts, he was a mentor and inspiration to countless children and young adults in the community.

His bright spirit, sense of humor, and ability to light up any room made him the heart of every gathering. If you ever needed a laugh, Timmy was the one you could always count on.

Larger than life and loved by many, Timmy will be deeply missed. May his legacy of kindness, laughter, music, creativity, and unwavering love live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
