Theresa M. Grace was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on July 26, 1924, to Eugene A. Briggs and Gertrude J. Saunders. She was the only girl with three brothers, Eugene A. Briggs Jr., Joseph Briggs, Sr., and Carl Briggs, all of whom are deceased. She was the second oldest.

Her elementary school years were in Andover, MA and Lawrence, MA. The entire family moved to Boston when she was in High School. She attended and graduated from Girls High School.

Theresa worked at Armor Chamberlain meat packing company for 10 years. She was a property manager for Academy Homes for 10+ years. Theresa received a certificate in Business and one for Real Estate Management. When she retired, she became a Bus monitor and a crossing guard.

Theresa was married twice and gave birth to six wonderful children: Mildred M. Trimble (deceased), Pamela A. Wright, Sidney A. Jones (deceased), Carl F. Jones, Victoria D. Thomas, and Dianne E. Durrant. She brought all her children up in the Eliot Congressional Church on Walnut Ave., Roxbury.

In addition to her children, she leaves behind many grands, great grands, and great-great grands, nieces, and nephews, and her best friend Helen Henderson. Theresa loved to dance especially with her brother Joe. She was the cement that held our family together. She will be truly, truly missed.
