Terrel Raishawn Spencer, age 32, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island (formerly Boston, Massachusetts) transitioned peacefully from this earth on October 14,2024 after a short battle with cancer.

Terrel was born on November 25, 1991, to Dolores Wise and Donald Spencer in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the youngest of six children; as the family's baby, he was deeply loved by his parents and siblings. Terrel had a special relationship with each of his siblings, His older sisters Niya and Ebony who were 15 & 13 years older nurtured him, but it was in his brother Cameron that he would find his lifelong best friend.  The two of them loved being together and shared a bond that was cemented for life.  It wasn't until later in his life that Terrel would meet his siblings Sabrina and Donald, but there was no doubt that he loved them just as much.  As a child, Terrel was observant, energetic, and fearless; these attributes proved to be beneficial to him throughout his life. He attended Boston & Plymouth Public schools, and his teachers either loved him or were forced to respect his quick wit, intelligence, and mature logic; either way, he never allowed anyone's opinion of him to get to him. Terrel had a fierce love for his parents despite the ups and downs they experienced. He found solace in talking to his mother, he would patiently listen to her for hours until he could find a subtle escape. The love was no different with his father who shared a love for cooking, boxing, and reading. However, his true passion was music. Terrel (aka REOO) was a talented writer and rapper who wrote and recorded numerous songs and videos. Unfortunately, his pursuit of the music industry was cut short by his illness.

During his younger years, Terrel was quite the lady's man. For this reason and how much his mother doted (spoiled) him led to his mother and sister Niya affectionately nicknaming him "Jodi" (From the movie Baby Boy). Despite his gentile ways during that period of his life, he cared about the mothers of his children Tatiana (and her children Tonia and Tiana) & Shateya and considered them family long after their relationship ended. Terrel was a loving father who adored his children Thai and Nova; they meant the world to him, and he didn't hesitate to speak up when it came to them.

On November 25, 2023, Terrel married the love of his life Jenny and proved to be a loyal and dedicated husband and father figure to her three children. Jenny was equally devoted and an amazing support for him during his battle with cancer.

Over the last year, Terrel developed a relationship with God through prayer, reading the Bible, and having lengthy conversations about Bible stories with his sister Niya. In his final month of life, he confessed his sins to God and accepted our Lord and Savior into his heart.

Terrel leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Jenny Spencer;  children Thai Raishawn Spencer &  Nova Skye Spencer; Stepchildren Michael Hedquist, Makayla Hedquist, and Rihanna Feyisitan; parents Dolores Wise and Donald Spencer; siblings Niya Alcindor (Irvin), Ebony Wise (Jean Saturns), Sabrina Schnur-Kornbrust (Tim), Donald Chapman, and Cameron Wise (Octavia); ten nephews Rondell Pennant, Davel Pennant, Malik Thelwell-Wise, Keysawn Normil-Wise, Kyron Pennant, Javon Normil-Wise,  Kaiden Wise ,Tyson Wise-Normil,  Devid Saturne , Ashton Wise, three nieces Josephine Kornbrust, Lutiana Alcindor, and Maleia Wise; one great-neice Amiyla Pennant; Paternal Grandparents Dorothea and Thomas Spencer; and loyal friend Dimitri Oneil. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who he loved dearly.
