Taurin Paris Swindle passed on from this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  He was the second child of three born on May 1st, 1981, in Boston, MA to Paris and Sherry Swindle.  He attended his schooling through the Metco program in the Belmont System.  There he was a football player in high school for 3 years and went on to college at UMass Lowell.  Taurin was baptized at Jubilee Church in Boston at the age of 20 and served there as a Gate Keeper along with other duties.

Taurin always expressed an interest in the construction industry.  He worked with several construction disciplines such as Carpentry and Painting.  His passion was to be a part of the Construction Union.  He worked diligently towards becoming a member as it was difficult being a black male to achieve.  He did not get discouraged but he kept pursuing his dream.  When one door closed, he moved onto the next until his goals were accomplished.  Taurine worked hard in becoming an iron worker apprentice.  He not only worked with the Iron Workers Local Union #7 but also did site work with general contractors.  Some of his recent projects were the Moderna building and Faulkner Hospital.  Taurin was highly respected and recognized as a hard and reliable worker by his colleagues and administrative personnel.

As a businessman Taurin was one of the co-founders of our family business Renaissance Group.  He was an entrepreneur who worked with family members to establish a company which provides business and real estate consulting services especially to communities underserved.

Taurin was a God-fearing man of great character. A man of his word. He believed that God created an orderly and good world for us however mankind struggled to live by God's truths.

Taurin was a strong believer in Stephen Corey's 7 habits which he utilized by demonstrating and implementing these principles in his life. He was a major positive force in this community and in the individual lives he touched.

Taurin was a very affectionate and caring person.  He spent a lot of his life dedicated to his family.  He especially enjoyed being an uncle.  Taurin was a lover of music, sports, movies, chess and liked working out. Taurin will be greatly missed by all who know and love him.

He will be received by both paternal Dorothy Safford, Robert Swindle and maternal grandparents, Ida Williams, Charles Drumright, his aunt Diane Williams, and uncle Vernard Stafford.

Taurin is survived by his parents Paris Swindle and Sherry Swindle.  His brother Eric Swindle, sister in-law Tiffany Swindle and sister Takiyah Woodberry, his nephews Jasiah Woodberry and Langston Swindle, nieces Jayla Woodberry, Quincy Swindle and Skylar Swindle.  He is also survived by a loving host of other relatives and friends.
