Sherome Arthur Pight was born June 3, 1991 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Brenda Jean Pight and Tyrone Tito Jones. Sherome entered eternal rest on November 26, 2023. He was an amazing son, brother, father and cousin. Sherome was affectionally known as "Rome'' by his family and friends.

Sherome's life journey began in Boston, Massachusetts, where attended Boston Public Schools.  Sherome loved to play sports, especially basketball and he loved spending time with his children. Sherome's smile and laugh were contagious to all that shared his humor.  He loved to joke with people and make them laugh.

Sherome was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Jean Pight, and his maternal grandparents Josephine and Arthur Pight.

Those left to cherish Sherome memories: his two children Jakhari Pight and Vyrsai Pight both of Boston MA: his father, Tyrone Jones of Boston MA, three brothers: Anthony J. Pight, Pendral Coakley and Brandon A. Pight all of Boston MA; two sisters: LaShawnda A. Lavender of Alabama and Kiana R. Pight of Boston MA.

Rome loved his nieces and nephews: Brendalise Pight, Royalty Pight, Ariella Pight, Brandon Pight Jr, Camise Pight and Pendral Coakley Jr.  He had one godson Junie Burton.

As well as numerous aunts and uncles; cousins and other relatives and friends.
