In the corner of our hearts, you will always be!

At 7:40 a.m., on Tuesday, October 9, 1984, a six pound, nine and a half ounces, beautiful baby girl was born. Her young parents Lydia and Rollins Griffith, Jr. were elated. Shaynel Yvonne Griffith had the best of the best of everything. At the age of three, she took the stage in her first dance recitdal. She was enrolled in ballet and tap classes for 13 years, which gave her a tremendous advantage when she auditioned with The Boston Ballet and ... need I continue.

She was accepted into The Stepping Stone Foundation and; imagine this, sitting at the Captain's table (on one of many cruises) at the tender age of eight years old.

Her childhood was filled with birthday parties; at her first birthday party she had 18 one year olds and Jingles the clown...every birthday party after was bigger!

The sleepovers were filled with constant joy and laughter. Her trips to, Six Flags, Canobie Lake and of course Disney World were adventures to die for!

Shaynel spent a summer in Costa Rica doing something, maybe nothing, don't laugh... after three days she was ready to come home as she saw how children her age lived. It was an eye opener.

She did a small stint in the Yourh Choir at CSAME Church. She knew the Lord as many days she would say...I was praying last night.

Shaynel represented her school district in the National Spelling Bee, placed fourth in the final round and was eliminated. Boy was she devastated.

She was a graduate of the prestigious Boston Latin School. She was accepted to UMass Amherst but chose to attend the Academy of Dramatics Arts in New York, as acting became her passion.

She obtained her Bartender license and enjoyed various jobs in the Food Beverage industry. After three years in New York, she decided to move back home to Boston. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls...Rest Peacefully; To God Be The Glory Great Things He Has Done!
