Obituary

Our beloved Sharon Boggs, known as "Sha" by loved ones, was born in Boston, MA on January 25th, 1965 to parents Dorotha Boggs and Melvin Boggs Sr (deceased). Growing up, Sha's truest passion was track and field. She started run ning track as a young girl & continued to excel through her college years. She was an elite track star, she often shared that running gave her a sense of freedom, making her feel as though she could fly. As she got old er, she poured her passion into motherhood, striving to be the best mother she could while caring deeply for the rest of the family. She was the most joyful, loving, patient, nurturing, confident and funniest person we knew. For over 20 years she worked in the pharmacy in many Massachusetts hospitals & later transitioned to managing patient assistance programs as well as working in compliance.  She was dedicated to ensuring the af fordability of medication for everyone. In her later years, Sha developed a love for gemstones. She created unique and elegant pieces of jewelry that she often would gift to friends and family.  Sha even sold her jewelry as a vendor for different events held in Massachusetts. Each gemstone in every piece was meticulously selected to create a heartfelt work of art that carried a piece of her essence. All of the research, design and crafts manship were thoughtfully tailored to the person she was creating for. Sha's passion for helping others was also demonstrated through her selfless acts of service, whether it was making food for the homeless, vol unteering in the community, assisting a stranger on the street or sup porting and praying for others. Throughout every part of her life, she made sure to put God first and demonstrated His love Sha leaves to cherish her memory one child, Zari Quail (Naim Quail), two grandchildren, Shaad Joseph Quail and Za'Nya Shay Quail. She also leaves to cherish her mother Dorotha Boggs, two brothers Melvin Boggs Jr (Regina Boggs) and Jarvus Boggs, her niece Tamera Boggs and nephew Terrell Boggs. There is also a host of other family members and friends from near and far who will continue to treasure her memory. Those of us who knew Sha, know that it is impossible to condense her life and influence into a few paragraphs. May her spirit, memories and love continue to keep our hearts full.
