Rondal L. Woods entered this world on May 15, 1950, in Harvey, West Virginia. He was the fourth of five children born to the late Gladys Woods. On August 20, 2026, Rondal peacefully departed this life surrounded by the love of his family .

At the age of 13, Rondal moved to Boston, Massachusetts, with his mother and sister. He quickly adapted to his new surroundings, excelling academically and distinguishing himself as an exceptional student. Throughout high school, he maintained straight A's and later pursued higher education, earning his Master's Degree.

Rondal's professional journey reflected his dedication, ambition, and commitment to serving others. After obtaining his Real Estate License, he became a successful real estate agent in Massachusetts, helping countless families achieve the dream of homeownership. His success earned him recognition as one of ReMax's top real estate agents, and many may have seen him featured on local billboards.

Throughout his career, Rondal gained valuable experience in a variety of roles. He worked for The Salvation Army before pursuing a new path of service with the Boston Housing Authority. There, he dedicated more than twenty remarkable years supporting tenants in supportive housing. He played a vital role in helping individuals achieve stability and independence through his unwavering compassion, kindness, and commitment. Colleagues knew they could always depend on Rondal to step in at a moment's notice and do whatever was needed to support his team and those they served.

At the time of his passing, Rondal was employed by Pine Street Inn, where he continued his lifelong mission of helping others. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional responsibilities. He volunteered with the Suffolk County House of Correction, the Boston Public Health Commission, and Brothers With a Vision, as well as other community organizations. Giving back to others was not just something Rondal did; it was a cornerstone of who he was.

Rondal was equally devoted to his family. In 1995, he married the love of his life, Linda Woods. Their marriage was built on deep love, commitment, and companionship. He was a devoted husband who cherished every moment spent with her. A man of strong faith, Rondal first accepted Christ at Concord Baptist Church and later found his spiritual home at Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop John M. Borders III. His faith guided his life and inspired his service to others.

Rondal loved spending time with family and never missed an opportunity to gather with those he loved. His warm spirit, generous heart, and infectious smile made every occasion special.

Rondal also enjoyed watching basketball. He loved traveling with his friends and was always excited to share his experiences. Rondal was always looking for a good series on Netflix or Prime whether he finished them or not. He also enjoyed going to the movie theater every once in a while. He also liked going out to eat, especially to Red Lobster. No matter where he was, he wanted his picture taken. Sometimes he would just have a kick back day (as he would call it) to watch an unfinished series and have a good tuna fish sandwich and a few potato chips on the side.

Rondal leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister, Terri (Kenneith) Jones of Tampa, FL; nieces Rhonda Woods of Laurel, Maryland, Y'Londa (Eric) Foreman of Brockton, MA, Shavonne Bowden of Mattapan, MA, Akeyla Woods of Alexandria, VA, and Saylor Bowden of Mattapan, MA; nephews Wayne (Charnita) Woods of North Attleboro, MA, James Woods of Mattapan, MA, and Savion Bowden of Mattapan, MA; his beloved cousin, Mona Tucker, who was like a sister to him; his children, Aaron (Meghan) Washington and Antoinette Washington; grandchildren Devone, Tonea, Timi, Kailyn, Isabelle Washington, and Theo Young; great-grandchildren Sky'Lynn, Lauryn, and Aaliyah Washington; his extended family in Delaware and Washington, D.C.; and a host of other relatives, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

Rondal was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Woods; his brother, Raiford Woods; his sisters, Roxanne Green and Larlei Woods; and his mother, Gladys Woods. Rondal's life was a testament to faith, service, love, and compassion. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the communities he faithfully served. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
