Renee throughout her life was an exceptional athlete, playing basketball, softball, and all other sports. Renee throughout her long-term illness, was remarkable strong physically and mentally, determined, and showed the ability to continue to be her true self, humorous with a big heart, loving, and in control of her life, as she would say, "I AM OK". She enjoyed her family, friends and was a loyal resident of "Orchard Park Projects "(OPP) which she loved.

Renee would often be seen at Roscoe's Club and the Patio Lounge in Roxbury enjoying a social evening with her lifelong friends.
