Obituary

Philip Jeffrey Johns, of Lexington, MA, passed away on March 19th, 2026, at the age of 63.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Clifford C. Johns and Elizabeth A. (Hartley) Johns. He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth A. Johns of Lexington; his brother, Gregory E. Johns of Bowie, MD; his sisters, Barbara Barrett and her husband John of Quincy, MA, and Patricia Bellinger and her husband John of Dorchester, MA; nieces Rachel, Jennifer, and Teygan; and nephews Jerred, Miles, and Levi.

Phil was a graduate of Lexington High School. He furthered his education at Framingham State College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to work for Customs and Border Protection in Douglas, Arizona, where he served as both a union representative and EOC officer.

Phil also held multiple certifications, including phlebotomy and Licensed Practical Nurse.

Phil loved to travel and visited many different countries. He especially enjoyed his family visits to Nova Scotia, Canada, and actually moved there for a brief period of time.

Starting at age 5, Phil endured several major surgeries over the years that continued into his adult life.

May he now find the grace and peace he long sought and so deeply deserved.
