Patricia Patsy Tarpley was born on October 21, 1939, in Barbados to the late Archibald and Montelle Bynoe. She gained her wings on the evening of Thursday, January 23, 2025, while resting at home.
Patricia started out working at Stride Rite as a shoemaker for a number of years. After that she worked at Macys as a seamstress in the bridal department where she worked until she retired. Patricia's hobby was sewing, and she has a passion for it. She started out making clothes for dolls, then proceeded to make clothes for her sons and family members which lead to her career as a seamstress. Patricia was very creative, from making clothes to decorating her house. Additionally, she was also a licensed hairdresser. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel and attend Caribbean festivals. She will always be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor and talent for sewing.
Patricia was proceeded in death by her parents Archibald and Montelle Bynoe; her husband James Watson Tarpley; Son Michael Tarpley; Siblings Ena Rapper, Livingston Bynoe, Marjorie Wooten, Ren Bynoe, Elaine McField, and Hugh Bynoe.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her son Clifford (Idalia) Tarpley of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchildren Michael, Kena, Clifford, Randy, Yethzurys; great grandchildren Michael Jr., Michael III, Micah, Mekhi, Makayla, Messiah, Deon, Jeannette, Janalise, Adrian, and Anais; Siblings; John Bynoe, Gloria Bentick and Monica Williams and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
