Patricia Lynn Floyd, 58 years old, of Dorchester, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 11, 2023, at her home.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Antinazicia Rosetta Floyd, lovingly called Nai Nai; her brothers, Ernest Floyd of Worcester, David (Barry) Floyd of Boston, Dana (Peter) Floyd and Thomas Floyd; her two aunts, Mrs. Ronald (Frances) Fitts, Sr. of Boston and Mrs. Carrie Hull-Chandley of Maine; her sister-in-law Ms. Sharon Corbin of Boston, her cat Playise, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. Patricia was the youngest of eight children. Pre-deceased by her mother Mrs. Rosetta Corbin Floyd, three brothers: Jessie L. Corbin (former owner and director of Jessie L. Corbin Funeral Home), Matt William Henry Corbin and Timothy L. Corbin.

Patricia was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, attended New England University, worked as a security guard and home health aide. She also attended Holy Tabernacle Church of Dorchester along with her daughter prior to her failing health. Patricia enjoyed listening to gospel artist Pastor Shirley Caesar, as well as the Five Blind Boys and Albertina Walker. She was also a great fan of the Boston Celtics. Her favorite words were "Let's put it this way". Her Facebook plaque said it all, "Until my last breath, I will praise the Lord".
