Pamela L. Singleton was born on February 19, 1956 to the late Gerald D. Singleton, Sr. and Jacqueline G. Singleton.  She was baptized at Christ Temple Church at a young age.  Pam went to the Solomon Lewenberg Middle School, then to Dorchester High School. While in high school she worked at Boston City Hospital as a dietary aide.  After graduation she worked as a manager at Honeywell Aerospace Technology.  Before her employment at Honeywell, she danced at Billy Lee's Dance Studio in Boston.

In the early eighties, Pam was diagnosed with lupus.  Pam did not let that deter her spirit, she was blessed to live her life joyously and to the fullest.  Even though she was ill she took care of her mother until she was not able to continue due to her declining health.  She spent the last part of her life in and out of the hospital and rehab.

Pamela was known to her cousins, nieces, and nephews as Auntie Pam.  The neighborhood children as well as community members called her Auntie Pam.  Her favorite pass time was watching Family Feud, General Hospital, and the Jennifer Hudson show.

Pam is preceded in death by Jacqueline (mother); Gerald, Sr. (father); Gerald, Jr.; Glenn and Rodney (brothers); Renita (sister); Larissa Robinson (niece); and Tomeka Shum (niece).  She leaves behind her sister Lisa (Teenie); Rev. Marilyn C. Williams (aunt).  Included are nieces (Shannel, Ibana, Jirayna, Destinee, and Tayla); nephews (George, Rodney, Jr., James, Gerald IV, Kai, Jamal, and JaQuan); great-nephews (Marcellus, Darcellus, Chakari, Tahj, Christian, Dreyson, and Eliyahkam); great-nieces (Chassady, Imani, Brooklyn, Jacquilyn, Ava, and Sarai), along with a plethora of cousins, family members, and friends to celebrate Pam's life.

Pam will always be remembered as a shining star and for always flashing her beautiful smile.  Oh, and we can't forget that Pam was an avid basketball fan.  She was a diehard Celtics and Lakers fan; and made a point of checking out the neighborhood basketball tournaments whenever she could.  Dear Pam, you will forever remain in our hearts!
