Norman Wilberforce Baker, of Mattapan Massachusetts, passed away Saturday in the early hours of 1/3/2026.  He is survived by his sister Allyson Baker-Silverstein, his daughter Naomi Baker, and various aunts and uncles of the Baker and Creighton families.

His academic life consisted of studies of political science and economics at Yale University. He applied his knowledge

in positions involving information technology and management of political canvassers.

Norman loved his caribbean food and was never shy in providing his opinion regarding its' authenticity and taste.  This was evident in his social media reviews.

According to Norman, he was not a religious man but was grateful for prayers offered up for him.  In Norman's final days, he succumbed to metastatic cancer.  His fate seems best described by the lyrics from a gospel song by

Walter Hawkins, "I am goin up yonder to be with my Lord".

Peace and God's Blessings to all who came here today.
