Malcolm Morrison, 75, of Mashpee, Massachusetts, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born on December 30, 1950, in Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph and Marie Morrison.

Malcolm spent his childhood in Roxbury, Massachusetts where he went on to earn his bachelor's degree. Roxbury is also where he would meet and marry his now ex-wife, Novella Morrison. From this union they would have their only children, Layla and Joseph Morrison.

Malcolm began working for the Welfare Department in Roxbury as a social worker and was later promoted to a supervisory position. He was also a disc jockey for most of his life, he enjoyed putting people in a great mood and seeing them enjoy the music. He enjoyed arranging and providing transportation to not only family, but anyone in need. Malcolm was also a great salesman. He spent his free time enjoying life by reading Scripture, driving, cooking, gardening, watching the water and the stars. Overall, he enjoyed helping people and oftentimes shared his passions and hobbies with the ones he loved.

Malcolm is survived by his two heartbeats, his children Layla Morrison and Joseph Morrison. He also leaves to cherish his memories his sister Janet Morrison, ten grandchildren: Joseph Jr., Warren, Indonesia, Yusef, Tyeri, Phelun, Tina Marie, Montreque, Karter and Journey, two great grandchildren, Warren and Raya, an aunt, Siebena Morrison, and several cousins and beloved friends.
