Luz Yahaira Fuentes was born March 16, 1977, to Jose Luis Fuentes and the late Carmen Luz Encarnacion Fuents in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Luz peacefully transitioned from this life on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. at her home in South Boston, Massachusetts at the age of 49. On September 6, 1998, she was baptized into Christ at the Church in Roxbury and began her spiritual. 

Luz fought a good fight, she had her moments and her honesty about her situation was always refreshing, she loved to share the gospel and often gave out information about the church even during difficult moments. 

Luz leaves to cherish her memory: her sons Jacob and Joel Reinford, her father Jose Luis Fuentes, her sister Flavia Fuentes Hernandez (Hebert). Her niece Amarylis (Ami) and nephew Isaiah, and a host of family and friends.
