Lorena Ann Clark, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, entered eternal rest on June 13, 2026 in Schertz, Texas, Guadalupe County, at the age of 80.

Lorena was born on October 10, 1945, in Darlington County, South Carolina, to the late Edward "Buck" Bennett and the late Lorena Mack Bennett. She was raised with strong family values, faith, and determination that would guide her throughout her life. A proud graduate of Spaulding High School Class of 1964 in Lamar, South Carolina. Following her high school graduation, Lorena migrated to Boston, Massachusetts, where she built a life filled with purpose, love, and service to others.

While living in Boston, Lorena met the love of her life, John Willie Clark. Their love blossomed into a lifelong partnership, and they were united in marriage on April 27, 1972. Together they shared many cherished years, building a family grounded in love, resilience, and faith. Lorena dedicated much of her professional life to serving her community as a school bus driver for the Boston Public School District. She took great pride in safely transporting generations of children and was known for her kindness, dependability, and caring spirit.

Lorena's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother whose wisdom, strength, and unconditional love shaped the lives of her children and generations that followed. Her nurturing spirit, warm smile, and unwavering support will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willie Clark; her father, Edward "Buck" Bennett; her mother, Lorena Mack Bennett; her sisters, Jessie Shuler-Thomas, Julia McCullough, Geneva Jackson-Pearson and Jannie Moses-Fox; and her brother, Charles Bennett.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Kenneth John Clark, Kimball Clark, Dr. Kindra Clark Bejarano and son-in-law, Hans Bejarano. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Kenneth Martin Heyward and Daniel Jonathan Givens, and her beloved great-grandchildren, Keniyah, Kennedy, and Kenneth, Jr.; brother, Edward Bennett, Jr., sister, Viola Shaw and a host of nieces, nephews and family.

Lorena will be remembered for her steadfast faith, loving heart, gentle spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and dedication. Her legacy lives on through her family, who will continue to honor her memory by carrying forward the values she instilled in them.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains an everlasting presence in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
