Linda Christine Woods was born on December 24, 1950, in Boston, MA, to the late Edgar and Grace Davis. She was called home to glory on January 27, 2025. Linda was the third of five children. At an early young age, Linda became a protector of her baby sister Marsha (Pizza); very rarely would you see one without the other, and this was the same connection that was shared until Marsha passing in 2021. Linda was quite an adventurer, which was proven by learning how to navigate the trains and streets of lower Roxbury. She was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School class of 1969. While in high school, Linda gave birth to her daughter Antoinette in 1968. Linda was one of the first students to be involved in the parenting program at Jamaica Plain High, which allowed Linda to graduate on time. After high school, Linda worked at various jobs. This was quite an experience for her and the family. Shortly after that, she and her daughter relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she met a young man and was married. Before giving birth to her son Aaron in 1973, her mother demanded she bring herself back to Boston, which she did.

Linda continued her education by attending Boston Business School, where she graduated.

While trying to navigate the system of family dynamics, Linda found herself overwhelmed and hanging with the wrong crowd of people. Through these relationships, Linda was constantly in trouble. With encouragement from her family and friends, Linda sought help with her problems and entered a treatment facility where she spent two years receiving support, which ultimately changed her life. After the completion of the program, Linda graduated and returned home.

After a brief struggle adjusting to this new way of life, Linda realized she needed more help and from this need, she was introduced to the fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous. Until her passing,

Linda was an active member of the Boston area of Narcotics Anonymous for forty years, where she participated daily following the spiritual principles and guidelines of (NA). Through her involvement with (NA), she learned how to help individuals who were looking for a new way of life like herself. The road of service for Linda led her to be involved with many community non-profit initiatives where she gained recognition for her service and willingness to help others. With her knowledge and skills that she learned by being an admired and reliable legal secretary for Bingham McCutchen law firm. At this time, Linda experienced a drastic change in her life: through God's grace and mercy, she accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior, and she realized she was a true productive member of society.

In 1993, Linda attended church regularly, where she met the love of her life, Rondal. They were married and baptized in the family of Concord Baptist Church, where they served until 2011. Linda held various positions at Concord; she was a member of the women's choir, vice president for the AIDS ministry, and a member of the new member's committee. Shortly after Concord relocated to Milton, Linda decided to change churches to Morning Star Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member until her passing. Post-COVID-19 Linda was hospitalized on numerous occasions; some of her ailments had lasting effects on her health. For most of the past year, Linda was under the care of her family at home, where she passed away on January 27, 2025.

Linda leaves to cherish her loving memories. Husband, Rondal Woods, her sister Diane Burns, two children, Antoinette Washington and Aaron Washington, six grandchildren, Devone Washington, Tonea Washington, Timi Washington, Kailyn Washington, Theo Young, and Isabelle Washington, and three great-grandchildren, Sky'Lynn Washington, Lauryn Washington, and Aaliyah Washington. One aunt Joyce Williams, one niece Melissa McGill, and one nephew Antonie Burns, and a host of cousins and friends.

Proceeding Linda in death are her parents, Edgar and Grace Davis; her brothers, John and Edgar Davis lll, and her sister, Marsha Davis McGill.
