MCPHERSON, Lily Pearl, 85 of Hyde Park MA, was given her heavenly admission to abide in the presence of the Almighty on January 1, 2024.

Beloved mother of Regina McPherson, Patrice McPherson, and Wanda McPherson all of Boston MA.  Proud grandmother of Alexis Barrow (Marcus), Jasmine Stots, Kayla Harris, Jeffrey McPherson, Justice McPherson, and great-mother of Christopher and Madison Barrow, Journey Phillips all of Boston MA. Adored sister of  Melvin McPherson (Mittie) of Hyde Park MA, Kenneth McPherson (Gerry) of August GA, and Donna Grant (James) of Marietta GA; niece of Alice Nixon of Hampton VA; special sister of Mamie Hanberry of Dorchester MA; extended family to Gisela Johnson of Boston MA, Anneris Rega of Miami FL, Mary Cottman (Maurice) of Charlotte NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lily was preceded in death by her beloved parents the late Deacon Randolph McPherson and Delia Peavy McPherson as well as her four siblings Van L. McPherson Sr.,  Berniece McCaskill , Jimmy McPherson, and Charles McPherson Sr.

Celebration of Life will convene at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA 02128. Wake to be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10AM and services to follow at 11AM. Internment to assemble at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131
