Lila M. Dennis-Copeland, born on March 27th, 1925, in Waxhaw, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on January 5th, 2026 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She was the beloved daughter of the late George Miller and Nora Stover Miller.

Lila was preceded in death by her devoted husband NathanielCopeland, and her siblings: Clyde, Roosevelt, Henry, Eldora, Robert, Search, Catherine, and Mary Margaret.

She leaves to mourn her children, Marian Wright and Debra Smith, along with a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
