Lester Key was born in Roxbury, MA on January 26, 1954, to Moses and Jessie Key Whiteside. Lester was a lifelong resident of Roxbury. He attended The Charles Bulfinch elementary school and graduated Jamaica Plain High School in 1971. He excelled in academics and the arts. After high school, Lester was trained in construction and painting. He also worked at Haymarket as a forklift operator until he was injured. Lester always loved cars and this motivated him to work as a car share driver and then on to becoming an independent operator. More important was that he was the affectionate loving caring big brother to Gladys, Tony, Stephen and Shawn at the time of his passing Our parents and other siblings have moved on to rest with our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Sharon key Smith, Mosetta Key McGee, Ronald Key, Carol Key Brown and Frank Key have welcomed Lester into their loving arms. Lester is Survived by Gladys Lomblick of Hempstead, Long Island, siblings Gladys Freeman Brooklyn, NY, Tony Key of Maryland, Stephen Key and Shawn Mcgee of Boston, many nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly. Many friends and associates.
