Lee was born on May 28, 1947, in Boston, MA to the late Lillie P. Russell and Lee Martin, Sr. He was preceded in death by all his brothers and sister. Lee grew up in Roxbury and Dorchester areas. He was educated in the Boston Public school system and graduated from Brighton High School. Over years, he has had many jobs including truck driver, taxi driver, general dynamics and lastly MBTA bus driver. He retired from the MBTA after 25 years of service on December 31, 2009. He enjoyed traveling, walking, fishing, watching old western movies, spending time with his family and of course his love for luxury cars. Lee leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Ella M., his children (LaTasha, Cheryl and Reginald); Grandchildren (Jae’lah, Shenee’ and Reginald, Jr.); great grandchildren (Asia and Mikaylah), his nephew Frederick who was like a son who he loved dearly and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including his two best friends (Eddie and Glen).
