Keith E
Brown
Oct 28, 1958 — Aug 9, 2023
Roxbury
Keith Edward Brown, affectionately known as 'KB' was a long-time resident of Boston, MA. He was born on October 28, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts. Keith was the youngest of three siblings born to the late John Edward Brown and Eldiner Parks Jenninngs.
In his youth, Keith attended The Oliver Wendell Holmes School and Leland Powers Broadcasting School in Boston, MA. He worked as a Court Officer in the Boston Municipal Court for over 30 years and then went to work in Scituate and will always be "Scituate Strong". Keith was the car detail king and could make any car shine. He was a great DJ, and loved talking trash on the CB Radio. His name was "Strawberry Kid" and he would be talking to others near and far.
Being a DJ was an ultimate passion for Keith. The house parties went on late into the night and into the early morning hours. A party was not a party until he ran through it, and boy, could he run through it.
Two of his most treasured items were his turntables and his motorcycle jacket. Boy oh boy when he purchased his first bike! He actually just pulled his coat and helmet out and was actually ready to start riding again. Cancer did not stop Keith it motivated him even more. He was forever thankful for each day and always Thanked Father God. Cancer doesn't have a name and it surely didn't defeat him at all. He just purchased a new set of Numark needles still in the box ready to hit the vinyl. Truly wish he could've had a chance to use them. He still even made CD's with his classic Kuttum K's logo.
Keith's love for Jaz, the M&M Brothers and his family was boundless. Father G that's what Makhai and Makhari call him. He was the man that was always down for the pizza, BFC and 2am migraine calls. He never missed Jasmine's birthday or any holiday he was her Easter bunny and always made sure the latest "Hess Car" arrived under the Christmas Tree for the boys. You could never forget he has the best nicknames for his nieces, nephews, grandkids and anybody he loved. That was just Keith.
He made a few trips to Las Vegas and fell in love with the place. His favorite hotel was the Silver Sevens. Keith actually took his third trip to Vegas for a week in May. He walked all over Vegas enjoying the sites living his best life! It was his dream to move to Las Vegas no matter what. Always coming back with M&M gifts for the Grands and Vegas trinkets.
Keith was preceded in death by his loving mother, Eldiner Parks Jennings, his father John Edward Brown. He is survived by his brother, Andre H. Brown(Andreas Brown) and sister, Yssa Santos(Shelli Santos, Monica Boykins). He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter Jasmine E. Brown, grandsons Makhai Brown-Lewis, Makhari Brown-Hill, son Ronald Scott, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, family and many friends. He will be missed by all!
