Obituary

Karen Denise Myers, 59, of Lewiston, Maine, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, after a courageous journey through illness. During her final weeks in hospice care, she was comforted by the love, support, and steady presence of her family.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 31, 1966, Karen would have celebrated her 60th birthday later this year. Though that milestone will be marked in our hearts rather than together, her life and the love she shared will continue to be celebrated by all who knew her.

Above all else, Karen loved her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world, and spending time with them brought her the greatest happiness. She also found joy in good food, music, and the simple moments shared with those she loved. Whether sharing a meal, listening to a favorite song, or simply enjoying time together, those moments brought her joy.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother Shirley; beloved children, Ericka Myers, Wesley Myers (and his wife, Tricia), Keiyana Myers and Miranda Brown; her cherished grandchildren, Zanaia, Promiss, Jabrie, Lashianna, Zy’Jawn, Zavion, Zarianna, Wesley, Willow, Winter, Daijon, Eliyanna, Emonie, Amariyanna and Elijah; her devoted siblings, LaDawn Myers, James T Myers lll, Yolanda Myers, Natasha Searcy; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Her love, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering strength will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Crystal Myers; James T Myers Jr., Melvin Brown and Keitha Myers-Lewis. We find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with them in eternal peace, where sorrow and pain are no more. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate hospice caregivers, family members, and friends who offered prayers, kindness, and support throughout Karen's illness. Your love and compassion brought comfort during an incredibly difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Davis Funeral Home, 89 Walnut Avenue, Roxbury, Massachusetts.

May Karen's memory be a blessing, and may those who knew and loved her find comfort in the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind.
