Julia Francis Dixon, 76, of Somerville, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully July 16, 2025 after a brief illness. Julia was born June 20, 1949 to her mother, Ruby Dixon and father, Thomas Dixon. She studied nursing and was a devoted caregiver for over sixty years. She worked hard and continuously cared for everyone around her. She enjoyed casinos, bingo, playing cards, and organizing family outings. In 2014, she married the love of her life, Lorenzo Harris. Julia will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and dedication to family.

Julia was predeceased by her sisters Mary Williams, Barbara Dixon and Annette Dixon. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Lorenzo Harris; son, Edward Dixon and daughter-in-law Stacy Dixon; grandson, Shane Dixon; sister, Ruthann Smallwood; brothers, Robert Pringle, David Dixon and Mark Dixon; bonus daughter, Tonya Harris; nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of loyal and adoring friends, including Esther, Jonathan, Isabel and William.
