Jose "Pipe" Castro of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on January 26, 1954, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to the late Severo Castro and Gloria Martinez.

Pipe was known for his heart of gold and his constant willingness to help those in need. He enjoyed good food, long phone calls with loved ones, and every moment spent with his family.

His kindness, generosity, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Alberto Castro and his sister Miriam Arnold.

Pipe is survived by his brothers, Herman Castro, Miguel Castro, and Osvaldo Caban; his sisters, Vilma Castro, Brunilda Castro, Gladys Castro, Virginia Torres, and Jeannette Vega; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
