Obituary

Jennifer E. Bogarty was born on May 2, 1980, in Boston, Massachusetts, to her loving mother, Linda Bogarty. Raised in Boston, Jenn developed an independent spirit from an early age. As an only child, she never allowed herself to feel alone. Instead, she embraced her cousins as her own brothers and sisters, creating lifelong bonds filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Her cousins, especially Shawny and Xavier, held a special place in her heart as the brothers she chose through love.

Jenn valued education and was committed to bettering herself. She attended Catholic school before graduating from South Boston High School. In 2014, she proudly completed her Dental Assistant training at Everest Institute, earning her certification and taking another step toward achieving her professional goals. Jenn was ambitious, hardworking, and always believed in creating opportunities for herself.

Family was the center of Jenn's world. She was the cousin who made sure everyone had what they needed, especially the children. Every school year, she made certain her cousins had school clothes and supplies, never wanting anyone to go without. She cherished simple moments; summer vacations, afternoons at the park and pool, shopping trips to Coolidge Corner, frequent stops at the Walgreens on Warren Street, and, of course, finding great deals at Gap. Some of the most treasured memories were simply sharing meals together and enjoying each other's company.

Jenn had a true passion for driving. Whether it was a planned road trip or an unexpected adventure, she loved being behind the wheel. She was an exceptional driver who knew her way around almost anywhere. Long before smartphones and navigation apps, Jenn was the family's original GPS, confidently getting everyone where they needed to be.

She possessed a special gift with children. They were naturally drawn to her patient heart, gentle spirit, and playful personality. Jenn also found joy in arts and crafts, expressing her creativity through the beautiful things she made. Gifted in mathematics, she had a remarkable ability to solve problems and approach challenges with confidence and determination.

Those who knew Jenn knew she was wonderfully herself. She was bossy in the most loving way and never apologized for expecting the best from herself and those she loved. She was ambitious, focused, and always about "getting her money."

Beneath her strong personality was a woman with an incredibly generous heart who quietly sacrificed for others, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

On July 9, 2026, Jennifer peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Jenn is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her loving mother, Linda Bogarty, her favorite aunty Mickey, beloved best friend, Keisha, along with all those who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Jenn leaves to cherish her precious memory; her special friend, Blake; her godchildren, Shataree, De'Onte, Keyshawna; her dear friends, Sheen and Meechie; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
