Jarrett Matthew Teamer entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. In accordance with his wishes, he spent his final days in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the love of his devoted parents, cherished children, dear friends, and family.

Though his illness claimed his earthly life, it never diminished his strength, compassion, or unwavering spirit.

We gather not only to mourn his passing but to celebrate the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of a truly kind, caring, and selfless man. Jarrett possessed a heart of gold, a gentle soul, and a genuine love for helping others. His warmth, quiet strength, and infectious smile touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.

From an early age, Jarrett demonstrated remarkable courage and determination. Diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes as a young child, he refused to let his condition define him or limit his dreams. He embraced life with enthusiasm and resilience, participating in Boy Scouts for many years and enjoying a variety of activities, including baseball, soccer, basketball, football, track and field, and even tap dancing. His perseverance inspired everyone who knew him.

Jarrett attended the Lexington METCO Program, where he excelled academically and personally, earning several awards before graduating from Lexington High School. His commitment to learning and personal growth continued as he attended the Franklin Institute, where he earned his HVAC certification, reflecting his desire to continually expand his skills and opportunities.

After high school, Jarrett dedicated his life to serving others. He began his career at The Dimock Center, where he compassionately cared for children and adults with disabilities in residential programs. His generous spirit extended far beyond his professional responsibilities. For many years, he and his beloved daughter volunteered together as Santa Claus and his faithful elf at Christmas celebrations for individuals with developmental disabilities, bringing joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories to countless families.

Jarrett later joined Massachusetts General Hospital, where he faithfully served for more than twenty years as a receptionist in the Burn Center.

Patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, and coworkers came to know him for his welcoming smile, calming presence, professionalism, and genuine kindness. He made everyone who entered the Burn Center feel seen, respected, and cared for.

Family meant everything to Jarrett. He was the youngest of five siblings and shared a close bond with each of them. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Daniel Teamer. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Barbara and Joe Teamer; his brothers, Gregory Butler of Texas and Joseph Teamer of Texas; and his sister, Krystle De La Rosa of Texas.

Above all, Jarrett was a devoted and loving father. His greatest pride and joy were his two beautiful daughters, Jamareea Teamer and Jamia Perriera, whom he loved beyond measure. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, treasured friends, neighbors, coworkers, and all whose lives were forever enriched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

Although Jarrett's earthly journey has ended, the legacy he leaves behind is one of faith, perseverance, compassion, humility, and unconditional love. His life reminds us that true greatness is measured not by what we possess, but by how deeply we love, how faithfully we serve, and how generously we give of ourselves.

His memory will remain forever in our hearts, and his love will continue to guide those who were blessed to know him.
