James (JW) Moore was born on March 18, 1941 to the late Major and Beatrice Moore in Britton Neck, SC. James graduated from Bethel High School in Britton Neck, and married his high school sweetheart, Betty Ann (Graves) Moore and embarked on a new life-long journey to Boston, MA where they resided for over 60 years. JW worked at MBB Train Interior Finish, where he retired in 1988. During his leisure time, JW enjoyed gardening, carpentry, art, fishing, masonry, electrical work, and enjoying late night conversations with his brothers and special aunt Isoline Gause who lives is Livingston, NY. JW was a pillar to his community and was loved dearly by his neighbors.

JW is preceded in death by, his beloved wife Betty Ann Moore, daughter Marilyn Moore, and brother Kellip (Waverly) Moore; and is survived by his children James Moore of Boston, MA, Sallie and Sharon Dukes of Maryland; brother Roy (Mariah) Moore, Sr of Boston, MA; grandchildren Janae, James III, Jameisha, Andrew, Sasha, James T, Troy, Tiffany, Xavier, Xion; great-grandchildren Aria, Caliyha, Jamari, Tamia, Zaria, Jaylen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
