James Harold Coles was born on August 24, 1946 in Plainfield, New Jersey.  He was born to Sara Jean Chinn Coles, and the late James McKinley Coles Jr.  James went to be with the Lord on December 26,  2025. He is  survived by his mother Sara Jean, his two siblings, sisters Carol Lynn Wharton-Brown, and Irene E. Murphy.

James Loved the Lord he was a child of Jesus.   Everyone he met he spoke about Jesus and let them know he went to Church and Bible Study.  James was born with many challenges but they did not stop him from being a nice person.  James loved music and had a wonderful singing voice, and he could remember all the words to the songs and name the artists who made them famous.  He had a marvelous laugh, and his humor was contageos.  James also loved game shows, his favorite show was cash cab from New York.

James loved his family, and he also leaves to morn him his nephews Michael Wharton, and Damien Bonilla.  His Nieces Dawn Bonilla, and Randi Bonilla,  He had many great nieces and nephews and he loved them all.  And he had many people who loved him and treated him like family.
