A Celebration of Life and Legacy
Isola "Icy" Elliott Crawford was born on April 28, 1928, in Colon, Republic of Panama. She was educated and graduated from Rainbow City High School in Colon. She passed away on January 18, 2024, in Panama at age 95.
In 1964, Isola moved to Boston, Massachusetts. She began her first career with the well-known New England Telephone company. She retired from Bell Atlantic, known today as Verizon. She worked for the company for twenty-five years.
For many years, Isola was a long-standing St. Joseph Catholic Church (Roxbury, Massachusetts). A significant change came, and she went to St. Patrick's Parish, where she remained active until she retired in 1991 and moved to Florida. Isola remained loyal to the St. Patrick English community in various. She was also a member of St. Malchy's Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Isola is predeceased by her parents, James and Evelyn Elliott; brothers, Luis Elliott Rowe, Felix Elliott Rowe, Jay Elliott, and Albert Elliott, sisters Mae Elliott Humes, and Mary Elliott Kenny; and survived by the Kenny family, Humemily; nieces and nephews, godchildren, and family friends.
Isola was a woman of strong faith who loved her family and friends. Her greatest desire for her family is to "love one another and support each other."
