Howard Anthony Clark was born in Gainesville, Georgia to John and Wessie Nell Clark.

Mr. Howard Anthony Clark was born on July 12, 1944, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Wessie Nell and John Clark. He grew up in a loving family and was educated in the Gainesville public school system, attending Fair Street Elementary and graduating from EE Butler High School.

Howard confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia, where he began a lifelong journey of faith.

In September 1963, Howard embarked on a new chapter in his life, moving to Boston, Massachusetts. There, he built a legacy of hard work, resilience, and love for his family. Known for his infectious humor and ability to bring joy to any room, Howard always made people smile. When asked how he was doing, he'd often reply with his trademark saying: "I feel like a million bucks, but I'm broke," bringing laughter to everyone around him. His old-school sayings and warm personality made him unforgettable to all who knew him.

Howard was a hard worker, and he worked at Nutramax for 43 years. When he retired, he couldn't sit still so he picked up a part time job at Colonial Maintenance for 6 more years. Albert Einstein said it best, "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving" He also said, "Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value" both of which Howard did.

Howard loved his wife and all his children and wanted to give them the world, hence the reason he worked so hard, not for success but for value. There wasn't a moment when Howard wouldn't greet you or anyone, even perfect strangers with that big 5-star smile.

Howard loved dressing to impress with his 3-piece suits, matching hats and shoes. His hobbies were fishing, playing with remote-controlled cars, watching western TV shows, and the Patriots and Celtics games.

Howard loved sitting on the porch with either King or Prince and talking with the neighbors. Everyone, family and friends that Howard spoke to,

know his famous words. "How are you doing? Well, I'm glad to see you or Well I'm glad to hear from you, I love you!"

Howard is survived by his wife Erdene Regina Clark, his former wife Shirley Clark, his sister Joyce Clark, brother John and wife Claretha Clark, brother Charles and wife Frances Clark, brother Jimmie Clark and Brenda Hendrix, sister Frances and husband Gary Williams, sister Angela Nell Clark, sister Karen White, sister-in-law Irma Clark.

Children: Todd and wife Laurie Clark, Marvely Clark, Anthony Clark, Candace Clark, Orlando and wife Philsha Russell, Tabatha Enoch, Latunya Maiden and his stepchildren LeVona Haltiwanger, John Haltiwanger Jr. and LaToya Hall along with his fur child Prince Clark.

Grandchildren: Coyhreal Clark, Nashonda Clark, Shawn and Angelica Godinho, Kirstie Clark, Todd Clark Jr., Da'Quan Paris, Jordan Clark, Danielle Depeiza, Charles Butler, Chaz Butler, Candace McGee, Aliyah Glover, Russell Jr. Glover, Tyra Glover, Ceasar Glover, Shanatae Williams, step grandchildren Robert Morris, Kevin Hurd, Kaquan Hurd, Javon Hurd, Destiny Walker, John Davis, Jhanae McRae, Jordyn McRae, Soyini Wilcox.

Great grandchildren: Tahron Hooper, Chanel Ivey, Shaun Ivey, Cahri Ivey, Kylen Head, Shawn Godinho Jr., Nevaeh Godinho, Amiyah Domings, Nakyrah Paris, Damiah Paris, Damari Depeiza, Kamren Depeiza, Journii Depeiza, Ty Enoch, Stormi Williams, along with nephew Gerard and wife Sonya Clark and many more nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

He is preceded to heaven by his mother Wessie Nell Clark and father John Clark, sister Lula Mae Watson, brother Hilton Clark, brother Cardoza Clark, brother-in-law Carrol House, brother-in-law Henry White, brother-in-law Mike Howell, and stepdaughter LaShawnda Haltiwanger along with his fur child King Clark.

Howard will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering faith, dedication to family, and sense of humor will remain an enduring inspiration to everyone he touched.

Howard's legacy will live on through his family and will always be remembered as the Hammer!
