Hamilton G. McFerson "Bone", age 78, formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024. He was a graduate of Boston's English High School in 1965. He explored several career paths including youth community outreach work, education, law enforcement, banking customer service, inventory management, and hospitality. Hamilton had many talents and passions such as carpentry, calligraphy, cooking/baking, Elvis music, sports, learning/sharing the most random of facts and most of all, making his presence known. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, extended family, friends and strangers. He had a strong relationship with God and never waivered in his faith. Hamilton possessed a photographic memory and had an uncanny ability to recall exact dates and times of recent and past events. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel McFerson, his fathers, Samuel McFerson and George Greer, as well as siblings Hazel McFerson Schiavo-Campo, Herman McFerson, and George E. Greer Jr. He is survived by his sister Helen Greer-Guilford as well as his many children, grandchildren, stepchildren, and other close family members. When dealing with all of the blessings and challenges that life brings, Hamilton did it HIS way.
