Gino "Funk" Romano age 52, a resident of Boston passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Boston Medical Center, surrounded by loving companion Rosalyn Texeira.

Born in Boston, Gino was the youngest child of the late Eugene Romano, Sr. and Eula Fuller Romano.

Gino grew up in Boston, where he attended Boston Public Schools. Gino worked at Huttig Building Products in Taunton. He loved watching the New England Sports Teams, music, fishing and making people laugh. He was well respected and most happy spending time with his family and friends.

Gino is survived by his three children Diamond Romano (daughter), Logan (son), and Aiden Rodriguez (son). His loving grandsons, Kyzer J. Mickles, and Adonis C. Romano. Three stepsons; Alex Cruz, Jonathan Cruz, and Christopher Cruz, one stepdaughter Jessica Cruz.  Loving brother of Eugene Romano, Jr., Thoreatha Romano, Dominic Romano, Angelina Brothers-Smith and Anthony Brothers.  He is also survived by a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
