Evander Rose, Jr., born October 1, 1947, in Boston, MA, to the late Evander Rose, Sr. and Lydia Rose, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, at the age of 76.

He was educated in the Boston Public Schools. Evander worked diligently in construction throughout Boston and took great pride in contributing to the city's growth and development.

Evander leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Dolly, his daughters Alicia (Dana), Angela, Ashley (Higor), his sister Geraldine, sister-in-law Brenda, brothers-in-law, James, David, John D., Tony, Leroy, grandchildren Nicole, Kiya, Desiree, Miniya, Zion, Zarek, Alexis, Savannah Jade, great-grandchildren Khai, Kimaya, and Kiron, nieces Shawnda and Sharita, nephews Damon and David and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
