Born on May 6, 1970, Erika entered this world with a radiant spirit and departed leaving cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Erika was the beloved daughter of Lena Buckley and the late David Morgan Herron. She was raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and educated in the Boston Public Schools. She later attended Jeremiah E. Burke High School, where she met the love of her life, Edward "Shawn" Fisher. Their union was blessed with three children: Shurida, N'Dyah, and Shawn Fisher, and later with three treasured grandchildren: Ty-Sharry Golden, Khizer Walker, and Nova Golden.

Family was the foundation of Erika's life. She was a proud and devoted grandmother whose presence was marked by encouragement, joy, and unwavering love. Known for her warm smile and compassionate nature, she had a remarkable gift for making others feel valued and uplifted.

Erika is survived by her beloved children, her cherished grandchildren, her loving mother Lena, and her siblings Monera Shaw, Levar Bent, Beres Smith and Carl Horton. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Fisher, her father David Morgan Herron, and her grandson Sage Golden.

Grounded in her faith, Erika drew strength and guidance from God and remained active as much as she could within her church community. She lived a life of service, always willing to extend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
