Edna Naomi Little of Mattapan, Massachusetts, entered her heavenly home on September 10, 2025, at the age of 101. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to  Marius and Edna Coblyn. She was one of ten children in a large and loving family.

Edna was a gifted student and talented artist, with a special passion for painting. Her colorful artwork continues to brighten the homes of those she loved. She built a remarkable career, first at Raytheon and later as a Biometrician for the State of Massachusetts, where her sharp mind and dedication left a lasting mark.

Faith was the foundation of her life. A devoted member since 1995 of Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury, Edna joyfully served as a preschool teacher, chapel choir member, and as an active member in the Senior Ministry Swingers Club. She was known for her radiant smile, stylish elegance, uplifting humor, and her love of scripture. Her well-worn library of inspirational books and Bible commentaries, filled with handwritten notes, reflect her deep devotion to God's word.

For most of her later years, Edna lived with her beloved sister Anna, where the two shared countless days of laughter, companionship, and family memories. In her final years, she was lovingly cared for by her devoted sister Anna, her niece Deborah, and her nephew Clayton, whose faithful dedication brought comfort, dignity, and joy to her days.

Edna loved music, travel, and laughter. She delighted in cruises, gave generously to charities, and often hummed or sang hymns throughout her day. She especially cherished celebrating her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James and her brothers Harold, Patrick, George, Carl, Gordon, Earl, and Irving. She leaves behind her devoted sisters Anna of Boston and Janet of Washington, D.C., along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who remember her grace, humor, and unwavering faith.

Edna's life was a beautiful example of love, devotion, and joy. To know her was to be uplifted, and her legacy will continue to shine brightly I the hearts of all who loved her.
