Donna J. Adams, born October 30, 1952, has passed this way and is heaven bound to be with her Mother and her celestial

family.  She was born to Myrtle E. Adams and James Gray on that brisk October day in the South End Neighborhood of Boston.

After attending elementary and junior high schools, she graduated Jeremiah E. Burke high school in Dorchester.

She worked as a clerical assistant at the Registry of Motor Vehicles then became a Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority Bus Driver until her retirement.

As Donna managed her way through life, she enjoyed the good and faced the bad with courage.  She enjoyed her family and friends, much music, a good party, and travelling - her passport was always current.

She leaves us with a wonderful legacy of two sons, Shawn (Sylvia) and Darryl; grandsons Shawn, Jr., (Nicole) and Jalen; and great-grandchildren Shawn, III and Rylin.

She also leaves her sisters, Marilyn, Beverly, and Karen; she leaves many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as her brothers-in-law.   They are/were all very dear to Donna.  She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Cynthia, and her brother Keith.

Through it all, she knew many happy moments and also many struggles, illness, and health challenges; she leaned on her faith, showed grit and determination, and yes grace.  She was especially grateful to her nieces Tanisha and Sherryl and her brother-in-law Rob who together gave special care, patience and assistance.

Godspeed Donna, you will be loved and missed forever!
