Deborah Ann Robinson, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, educator, family member, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. She was 77 years old. Born on August 30, 1948, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Deborah was the cherished daughter of Frank M. Robinson Sr. and Rosemary Robinson (Marsh). She was the youngest of three children and shared a lifelong bond with her family. Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Joyce Nelson (Robinson); her precious son, Darryl Moore; and both of her loving parents, Frank and Rosemary Robinson. Deborah was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering love for her family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, caring spirit, and the comfort she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her legacy of love and devotion will live on through the many people she inspired. Raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Deborah graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School before continuing her education at Boston State College, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. Following the completion of her student teaching requirements, Deborah began a long and meaningful career as an educator with Boston Public Schools. Teaching was more than a profession to Deborah — it was a calling. For more than 30 years, she dedicated herself to nurturing and educating generations of students with patience, wisdom, and compassion. Deborah raised her family in the Roxbury and Cambridge communities of Massachusetts, where she created a home filled with love, resilience, and treasured memories. Family was always at the center of her life, and she took immense pride in the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren she leaves behind. She is lovingly survived by her brother, Frank M. Robinson Sr.; her children, Kimberley Robinson, Derek Moore, Steven Moore, Jonathan Moore, Stephanie Furlan (Jeff Furlan), and Anuli Love; and her grandchildren, Walter Norris IV, Kimberley Norris, Karrah Norris, Kadeem Edge, Mark Edge Jr., Duriyus Moore, Ducaari Moore, Du'a Moore, Amani Moore, (Dean Moore), Azuka Moore, Dean-Allah Moore, Aya Moore, Sativah Moore, Jonathan Moore Jr., Brandon Furlan, Victoria Furlan, Olivia Furlan, Noelani Lowe, Alex Lowe III, Nayeli Francis, and Nayila Francis. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Kyrrah Norris, Julian Robinson, and Kai Edge; three nephews; one niece; her longtime special friend, Richard Bosel; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. After retiring and once her children were grown, Deborah embraced a new chapter of life in Augusta, Georgia, leaving behind the cold winters of Massachusetts. There, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures — thrift shopping with women from her church group, sharing meals and laughter with family and friends, and spending time with her beloved pets, whose companionship brought her great happiness. She also loved her music, traveling especially to visit with her family.
