Obituary

Deborah Ann Redrick was born on August 2, 1951, in Birmingham, AL. She was the third child and first daughter born to Mary Ruth Burton Redrick and James Redrick. She was known by all friends and family as "Dot". Deborah accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Westfield High School. She traveled to Job Corp in Washington where she received her high school diploma, then she went through nursing school in hopes of completing her studies as a nurse. She relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where she worked in the nursing field for a while. During her lifespan in Massachusetts, she held many jobs working for the Cambridge City Hospital to the Postal Service. She finally settled on working for American Airlines where she retired.

Deborah had four biological children, Roberta Denise Brinkley (Arnold) of North Carolina, Antonio Nakia Redrick (deceased), Vicktrina Ruth Redrick (deceased), Latisha Monique Nelson, (David) of Boston MA. She raised all her children in the heart of Boston Massachusetts as a single mother while maneuvering her journey of life.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, laughing, the sound of the slot machines, and showed love to everyone she came in contact with. Everyone that has ever met her; met the real her and would either love her or hate her because she always kept it real. Deborah was called to eternal rest on February, 26, 2025. She will be missed by all who knew her. Deborah leaves to cherish her memory sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, god-children and a host of friends and other family.
