Darlene
Montgomery
Dec 17, 1957 — Oct 20, 2025
On December 17, 1957, Ada Yarbrough and Charles Williams Jr. were favored to birth a set of beautiful twin baby girls, one of whom was Darlene Williams.
She attended Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School in Dighton, Massachusetts, where she was a graduate of the class of 1977. Soon after graduation, Darlene married her then sweetheart, Leonard Montgomery. From that union, she was blessed with her firstborn child, Corey Montgomery.
Darlene was a very ambitious young lady who sought employment at the "Looking Good" store in Taunton, MA. From there, she transitioned to a more lucrative position as a data entry clerk with "Avon" in Attleboro, MA. Sometime in the early eighties, Darlene relocated from Dighton to Boston and gained employment at Boston University Hospital as a medical secretary. She later met and fell in love with Hudson Samuel, and from that relationship, she was blessed with her beautiful daughter, Nadine Alicia Samuel.
With great ambition to excel in life, Darlene enrolled and attended Roxbury Community College in furtherance of her education. Upon graduation, she accepted employment at Northeastern University as an administrative assistant in the transportation department, where her career lasted for 35 years until her retirement.
Darlene was a very caring person who loved life, her family, and her friends. Cherishing her memories are her children, Corey Montgomery and Nadine Alicia Samuel. Her parents, Ada Yarbrough and Charles Williams Jr., her siblings Charles "Chuckie" Williams III., her twin sister Dianne Williams-Worrell, and two other sisters, Vivian and Jacyna Williams. Her five grandchildren - Amari, D'mari, Jaden, Jaxon, and Nayara. One great-grandchild, Luna, and one niece, in addition to a host of nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
We miss her tremendously!
