Obituary

Cheryl Maria DeAllie of Norwood (formerly of Dorchester) passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday, September 20, 2024 after battling a long term illness. She was 77. Cheryl is survived by her loving daughter, Andrea L. DeAllie of Norwood, her ex-husband, (Roderick) Samuel H. DeAllie of Boston, and her cherished grandson, Ian J. DeAllie of Brookline, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cheryl is predeceased by her parents, Beryl E. Craddock and Hyman J. Craddock, and her six sisters, Janice Oliver, Helen Wilson, Audrey Waldron, Barbara Lorquet, Gloria Bailey, and Beverly Williams.

Cheryl graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School in Boston. For the following 10 years, she worked for the State as a keypunch operator. She then worked for Boston Edison Company (now Eversource), first as a keypunch operator and then later in accounts payable, for the next 36 years from where she retired.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family, going shopping, watching movies, and listening to smooth jazz. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends.
