Cheryl Ann
Cox
Feb 24, 1955 — Oct 20, 2023
Dorchester
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister, Cheryl Ann Cox. Born on February 24, 1955, she lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Cheryl preceded her mother, Barbara L. Cox-Beach and her brothers, Ronald L. Cox, and Keith A. Cox. She leaves behind her daughter, Sheryle, her sons, Sean and Peter, her grandchildren, Farrell and Josie, her two brothers John and Joe, her sister, Sandy. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mom was beloved by all. She attended the Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls at that time. She worked at the Berkley School of Music in the cafeteria where she was loved and respected by the students she interacted with (giving them a break when they were short of funds). She also worked security for at Northeastern University in her early years. Mom loved music. She was a Barry White fanatic, you could always catch her listening to a "Love Unlimited Orchestra" record, another song she enjoyed listening to was Jamie Foxx's "Blame it on the Al, Al, Alcohol". She was a crime tv enthusiast, you couldn't keep her away from ID tv or Oprah OWN network.
Mom also was a big Celtic and Patriot fan; she'd record every game possible and never got tired of watching them as long they were winning.
She also enjoyed her solitaire games and crossword puzzles. She was a caregiver of many, always had an open-door policy for family and friends, which was utilized often.
