Andrea "Vickie" Fuller Taylor passed peacefully Monday, December 29, 2025, in Boston at the age of 86. Andrea was born August 27, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was the second daughter of Charles C. Fuller and Gladys N. Fuller. A lifelong resident of Boston, she grew up in a household with doting parents and a strong Jamaican culture. As a child, family was a focal point as extended family from around the world, Jamaica, and locally were always present in the Fuller household especially during holidays for traditional Jamaican fare.

Andrea, also known as Vickie, was an active and energetic student at Jermiah Burke High School for Girls. She demonstrated a myriad of interests and talents throughout her high school years. She was involved in numerous clubs including the Glee and Debate Club, a representative of the Burke Breeze as well as excelling in the school's talent show. Joining clubs and activities would be a continued theme throughout Andrea's life. She enjoyed her friends, life and a variety of fun activities. Andrea graduated from Jermiah Burke High School for Girls in 1957. She continued her education by attending Boston Clerical School.

Andrea married Robert (Bobbie) Taylor in 1965 and they lived in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Andrea began her very devoted legal secretarial career at The McCormack Law Firm in Boston. She was as an essential member of Joseph Aronson, esq. team throughout her long tenure with The McCormack Law Firm. Her avid desire to elevate opportunities for other secretaries led to her training of other legal secretaries. She continued to engage in professional training throughout her career to stay abreast of technical and legal protocols and processes. She was committed to being the very best!

Her energy and enthusiasm for life were also exhibited by her active involvement in a variety of clubs including a long-term book club, The National Association for Legal Secretaries where she was an officer and planned  national and international travel for their local chapter. One of their last trips Andrea organized was a trip to Italy.

Andrea was a lifelong member of The Historic Charles Street A.M.E. Church in Roxbury, Massachusetts, where she attended regularly with her mother and other family members, all of whom were very active and devoted members of the church. The Missionary Society, Gladys R. Holmes Unit at Charles Street A.M.E. church is where Andrea devoted her talents and time.

Travel was a huge passion for Andrea with friends, her mother and professional associates. Trips to exotic places included the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Cruises were a special time for Andrea and her mother as they enjoyed numerous trips together, often sharing, upon their return, with other family members their adventures, purchases and pictures. Cats were another passion for Andrea. Her two long-term cats brought her great joy and comfort.

Known for her flair for fashion, Andrea dressed impeccably. She carried herself with confidence and pride as she strutted in her fashionable and stunning outfits, coordinated shoes, purses, jewelry and coiffed hair. Andrea was dazzling!  She was a role model for others who wanted to exhibit style and flair.

Starting as children and continuing in adulthood, Neysa and Leslie had a special relationship and bond with their aunt who loved spending time going to shows, events, Sunday dinners or just being home together.  Andrea attended every major milestone event (christenings, weddings, high school and college graduations) and was always proud to share her nieces, great nephews and great niece's accomplishments. Andrea was also very devoted to her entire family and numerous friends.

Andrea is survived by her sister Carmen Dillon (Boston), nieces Neysa Dillon Brown (Atlanta) and Leslie Dillon-Taylor (New York) and husband Gregory Taylor (New York), great-nephews Dylan J. Brown (Atlanta) and Drew P. Brown (Baltimore), great-niece Simone R. Taylor (New York), goddaughter Danielle and generations of cousins and dear friends.
