Ailene Deloris Leach -Scott, daughter of the late Clyde Thompson and Jennie V. Leach (Jordan) was born October 21, 1948 in Whiteville, North Carolina. She departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones.

In 1960 Ailene relocated to Boston with her family and attended the Boston Public School System. She then worked various jobs which included a bus driver for the City of Boston and a Home Health Aide. She also owned and operated the Leach Family Day Care. She worked at the W.A.I.T.T. House Education Association until she retired in 2018.

She was baptized in the precious name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost in 1977 at Bethlehem Healing Temple. She was faithful and worked tirelessly as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Usher Board, Nurses Board, the Sisterhood Department, President of the Pastor Appreciation Committee, and Head of the Kitchen Department.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: her daughters Beatrice (PooPoo) Leach, Arianna Lubin; sons William (Willie) Leach, Charles Lubin, and Tobias Lubin. She also leaves one precious grandchild, Jashawna Leach; her sisters, Ella Louise Register, Bonnie Hannah, Denise Register, Pamela Hannah, as well as brothers Jacory Jordan, Brian Jordan, and Anthony Jordan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, church family, and friends.

Ailene is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Scott, her brother John (BoBo) Young, her sister Teresa Hannah her sons Kevin Lubin and Lenny Lubin, her niece Emelia (MiMi) Hannah and nephew Gregory Josey.
