Obituary

Addison Ashley Bardouille was born on May 4th, 1957, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Louisa Bardouille of Point Mitchel Commonwealth of Dominica. Addison was an only child who was blessed with an abundance of love. Addison spent much of his life with his mother, Louisa and his aunt, Rosetta, who loved him like he was her son. They meant everything to him

Addie, as he was affectionately called, attended school in the Boston area and after graduation, served in the United States Air Force. He was very proud of his service and received various awards. After the Air Force, he took a position with the United States Postal Service where he worked for 47 years, up until his death.

Addie was a quiet, skilled artist who loved to draw. He also loved collecting model trains, playing mahjong, watching trivia shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and baking, especially vanilla bundt cakes. He also loved watching movies with a bowl of butter popcorn, his favorite nighttime treat. Addie was a true foodie.

Addison was devout in his faith and attended mass every Sunday. His church family meant a great deal to him. He took the tenet of giving back which he demonstrated through donation of his time and money. He participated in the Walk for Hunger every single year. It didn't matter how long the walk took him, he completed all 20 miles.

Addison is survived by his cousin June Anselm, who was more like a sister, her husband Auldrick, their children Bjorn, Jaleesa, and Kaleena, his goddaughter Josephine Raphael, numerous other family members and loved ones, including his best friends, Robert and Janique Lynch, Eddie Grossett, and Thomas Johnson. He will be supremely missed by all of us who loved him dearly.
