Addie Mae Miller was born on March 5, 1942, to the late Solomon Miller and Hattie Miller. At an early age, Addie confessed her life to Christ and was educated in the Selma Public School System.

Affectionately known as "Little Bit" by many, Addie moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the late 1950s. She became a devoted member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church under the loving leadership of the late Reverend Kelley.

Addie worked as a Nurse's Aide and was briefly united in marriage to the late James Graham on October 6, 1977. From this union, one son was born.

Addie truly had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up the room. She was loving, kind hearted, generous to those in need, and full of wisdom. She began cooking at the young age of five and remained passionate about it throughout her life. Her hobbies included people watching, listening to music, sewing, and reading. She was also an animal lover and adored her beloved cat, Sissy.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Charlene and Barbara Miller; her son, Kenneth Miller; and her granddaughter, Soraya Wilkins.

Addie entered eternal rest on April 24, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted family: her daughter, Bernice Miller of Boston, MA; her son, James Miller of New Bedford, MA; her grandson, Bobbie Miller of New Bedford, MA; and her granddaughters, Stephanie and Shawna Miller of Boston, MA. She is also survived by her siblings: sisters Charlotte Brantley and Lizzie Gooding of Boston, MA; Carol Vinson of California; Hattie Davis (Tony) of North Carolina; and her brother, Johnnie Miller (Sheila) of Maryland. She also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteousness judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me but also to all who longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
