John Lewis Mumford, 78 of Boston, died on February 13, 2018. Devoted son of the late Emma and William Mumford. Beloved fiance' of Gloria Williams. Loving father of Corrine Mumford, Laura Amis, John L. Mumford, Jr., and Glen Mumford all of Boston, Kenneth Mumford of TX, and Lynn Mumford of Barre, MA. Dear brother of George, Donald, Gregory, Betty, Evelina, Linda, Juanita, Donna, Edith, and Barbara. He is also survived by his ex-spouse Dorothy Walker of Medford and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings; William and Pearl.
