Walter Holmes III

After a long sickness, Walter departed this life and entered in eternal life on January 10th, 2020.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Mother Joyce Holmes-Alston of Boston, three sons; Walter Mitchell (Dania), Kelle Scott- Holmes both of Boston. Taylor Scott-Holmes of Virginia; daughters; Geona Mitchell-Durham (William) of Florida and Jazmin Scott of Boston. Six granddaughters, Geoni Rice of Florida, Aniah Mitchell, Genesis Velazquez, Angeli Mitchell, Joy Martin of Boston and Ava Scott of Virginia. Three grandsons, Gekai Durham, Gekari Durham of Florida and Kayden Scott of Boston. Three sisters; Patricia Holmes-Lewis (Eddie), Tonya Holmes and Carole Holmes of Boston. Two brothers; Shelton Person (Cindy) of Taunton and Desmond Lewis of Ohio. Four aunts; Gloria Herdon, Eileen Ford Suzy Sullivan of Boston and Betty Harris ( Marvin) of South Carolina. Two uncles; Garland Herndon of Boston and Maurice Holmes of Alabama. A special friend Carmen Rodriguez, he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Holmes, father Walter Holmes Jr., and stepfather Harold Alston .
