Ruth Ford 85 of Dorchester, July 30, 2019. Former owner of "Kathy's Fish n Chips" on Erie Street in Dorchester and former member of Little Zion Church and Greater Vision Tabernacle Church. Beloved wife of the late Albert Ford. Loving mother of Pauline Brown, Marsha Gillens, Coretta Brown, Trayce Hillman, Alfred Gillens, Katherine Ford and Kimberly Ford. Dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Rose Thaice, sister in-law Joyce Thaice, the late Rebecca Simmons, the late Charles Thaice, Jr. and Ernest Snell. She is also survived by a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, dear friends and Little Zion and Greater Vision Tabernacle church members.
